So, why did I create this IMHO blog and twitter account? Well, certainly some people will think i'm just some chick on a power trip -- and hey, they'd be right! In day to day life, you can't just say what you really think about someone. Well, you could, but you won't get very far in life. I have so many bottled up opinions that I just need an outlet, and i'm sorry if while browsing the internet you happen to be offended by the product of that need. I think everyone needs a good dose of the truth once in awhile, or at least a slap in the face.
Anyways, on to summer.
I love summer. It's beautiful, hot, sunny and warm. All the leaves are back on the trees, people seem just a bit more friendly and the bleakness of winter is washed away. Except for the "tannies" as I so fondly call them. You know, the girls who walk around in two inches of clothing with no sunscreen on cruising to be the brownest in town. Yeah, that's right, them. I almost dislike these girls more then the orange fake-tan ones. At least if it's a fake tan you're saving your skin, but come on. Those girls who sit in the sun for six hours now are going to have skin like leather by the time their forty. Not that i'm against tanning, nope, I love it -- but for gods sake, wear sunscreen!! Who wants skin cancer? Not me. And as for fake tanning, who the hell asks to be orange? Oh and also, if you're using do-it-yourself fake tanner, remember to get your feet. I can't even count the girls I see walking around thinking their all that with their fresh outta' the bottle tan who don't even notice that their feet are still white as a ghost.
